COVID-19 Announcement

Just a note about future breeding plans, as we've had many enquiries from various sources (possibly as a result of the current emergency lockdown giving people time to think about puppies).

We are not planning on any new breeding at all during 2020. The current situation does not support any sensible way of doing it if any of our girls become ready to be mated, and the consequences of the emergency need to be assessed before deciding to introduce puppies into a world where people might struggle to keep them.

We may, however, be considering a litter of Irish Setters in 2021 when hopefully things will have settled down. As for English Setters, it will be mid to late 2022 at the very earliest and only then if our current pup   s suitable.

If you're looking for a puppy in the near future we wish you the best of luck and hope you find the four-legged furry angel of your dreams. If you're looking more long term, we're happy to talk to you and keep your details on file if you want.

November 2019: English Setter

Puppies now arrived!

NOTE: PUPPIES NOW ALL RESERVED.

We are delighted to announce that, born on Monday 11th November, we have been blessed with a litter of 6 gorgeous puppies: 5 boys and 1 girl. At least two of the boys have blue markings (on the ears) and the colouring of the others will gradually come through over the next few weeks. The pups will be ready to go to their new homes from January 7th.

There are currently 5 boys available.

We would be delighted to talk to you if you are seeking an English Setter puppy as a pet or, additionally, for those seeking to enjoy competing at dog shows with their dog. Mum is a very pretty orange belton, and the Sire is a stunning tri-colour

We don't take deposits until the puppies have been born and potential owners have had the chance to come and meet us and the puppies in person and we will want to talk to you extensively about your experience with dogs, any relevant setter experience, your household, surroundings, other pets, etc.

The pedigree of the puppies is as follows:

Dam: Niddbeck Scarlet Lady at Paduan, hips 7/4, BAER hearing test normal, blood tests normal including thyroid function

Sire: Wansleydale Quicksilver JW, hips 4/3, BAER hearing test normal - this is his pedigree page: http://wansleydale.co.uk/dashpage.htm

We welcome all enquiries and provide unlimited backup and support for the lifetime of the puppy. There's no such thing as a silly question.
